Ngo MACTT (Mediterranean Academy of Culture Technology and Trade) organized “MAST – Restarting with sustainable tourism“, a live event to present the MAST project to the Maltese public.
The event was addressed to entrepreneurs, professionals, young people and students living in Malta and related to the world of tourism. They will be presented with the opportunity to keep up to date on new forms of sustainable tourism in the post-Covid era through a free video course, and to submit, by January 25, 2022, a project or a business idea related to the tourism of the future.
The webinar, broadcasted live on the Facebook and Youtube channels of the Mediterranean Academy of Culture Technology and Trade, was conducted by Caterina Passariello, Project Manager of the MAST project on behalf of the Maltese Ngo MACTT.
After introducing the funding institution (UfM for Employment Promotion) and the project partners, Caterina Passariello illustrated the phases and objectives of this initiative, which aims to promote a revival of tourism in a sustainable way for the post-Covid period.
Attention was then turned to the free online courses on the official MAST website (www.mastproject.eu) and how to register for this training phase.
The webinar continued with the illustration of the second phase of the project, which consists in the presentation of a business idea by registered users and in the awarding of the best project that will be presented within the deadline set by the organizers.
At the end, Caterina Passariello illustrated the MAST blog, which reports news and updates on the continuation of the project, inviting the public to follow the MAST facebook page as well.
